Nordic Africa Institute African Scholarship Programme (ASP) 2027
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Tanzania has announced a call for applications for the African Scholarship Programme (ASP) 2027 at the Nordic Africa Institute.
This programme offers early-career African researchers an opportunity to conduct research at the Institute for 2 to 3 months, while engaging with a dynamic Nordic–African academic community.

1. PhD Students

- Be employed full-time at an African university or research centre
- Not have access to international PhD funding or scholarships
2. Postdoctoral Researchers
Applicants must:
- Have completed a PhD within the last four (4) years
- Hold a position at an African university or research institution
Programme Benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- Return airfare (economy class)
- Accommodation during the stay
- Daily subsistence allowance of 450 SEK (~USD 50)
- Installation grant of 2,500 SEK (~USD 280)
- Shared office workspace (desk and computer)
